AGROTECHNICAL WORKSHOP: Secrets of a Rich Harvest.
1. Sowing and Seedlings.
Sow for seedlings in early March. Prick out at the one true leaf stage. Plant 70-day-old seedlings in the permanent location using a 40-50x35-40 cm pattern.
Planting tip: Pepper seedlings should be planted slightly deeper than they grew in pots. Adventitious roots will develop from the buried part of the stem, providing the plant with additional nutrients.

2. Pre-sowing Seed Preparation.
Heated seeds germinate more uniformly and faster. Methods:
* Thermos: Fill with water at +50°C and keep seeds for 2 hours.
* Running water: You can heat seeds under a tap at the same temperature.
* Disinfection: Before heating, it is useful to treat seeds in a warm, dark violet solution of potassium permanganate (20-30 minutes), then rinse.
Important: Do not heat seeds on a radiator — they will dry out and lose viability.

3. Temperature and Watering.
Ovaries may fall off if:
* Temperature drops below +15°C or rises above +35°C.
* Soil dries out or air is too dry.
* Watering is done with cold water (+10...+12°C).
Correct watering: Frequent but light (16-20 times per season). During fruiting — every 1-2 days with warm water.

4. Nutrition and Protection.
* Feeding: It is recommended to divide fertilizer into small portions (6-8 times per season, 0.2% solution).
* Stimulation: To prevent flower drop, spray plants with a urea solution (50 g per 10 L water) during flowering.
* Bio-security: Potatoes and peppers share common diseases! Do not walk from the potato patch to the peppers without changing shoes. Disinfect tools after working with potatoes.

5. Pruning.
Experienced gardeners recommend removing all side shoots (suckers) and flowers up to the first stem fork, otherwise, the fruits will be small. In greenhouses, watch out for bush overgrowth — they can break under their own weight, so staking is required.
